Below is a list of courses offered. We will update this course list as courses are added. If you have any courses offered please email getaheadsummer@. Please note that the summer program will be conducted in either a synchronous or asynchronous learning model.

Advanced Program classes taught in a synchronous learning environment will use a fixed schedule of daily class meeting times through a virtual online platform. During this meeting, the instructor provides students with direct teaching and learning opportunities to interact with the instructor and other students. In addition to these class meetings, the instructor will post assignments for students to complete and submit electronically. This learning environment mimics a typical classroom environment and uses a virtual online platform to support the instructor's teaching and delivery of materials.

** CVUSD students – please note that Chemistry CP/H, Biology CP/H as a follow-up course, requires a grade of "B" or better in Biology CP/H, and concurrent enrollment in Algebra 2 CP/H is recommended. for both. Thousand Oaks (TOHS) and Westlake High School (WHS). CP Chemistry requirements at Newbury Park High School are identical to TOHS and WHS requirements. However, it is recommended that students attending Newbury Park High School, or any other CVUSD or non-CVUSD school, consult with their guidance counselor to determine their best options.

Classes taught in the Get Ahead program's asynchronous learning environment allow students to access, complete and submit course materials.

Creekside Middle School

The student set for yourself. The instructor will post the materials and assignments and will be available for support and assistance through one-to-one communication between the instructor and the student. Students must compete and submit these assignments electronically. This learning environment is based on students becoming more independent in their learning opportunities.

The Conejo School Foundation's (GAP) GetAhead program uses CANVAS as a learning management system. If you are a current CVUSD student, you will be assigned a unique CSF student ID and login. Our program does not use the CVUSD CANVAS platform or login information.
