Ut Austin Academic Calendar 2023-2024 – The UTSCA Administrative Compliance Program (ACP) is designed to encourage financial compliance and recognize the hard work and dedication of clubs each year. Based on the following quantitative considerations, it is hoped that customers and club members will have meaningful and engaging experiences when they choose to join a sports club.

Clubs receive funding through the Management Matching Scheme, which is added to their budget based on their needs. Funding allocation for the 2023-2024 school year will be determined based on your club's achievements in the 2022-2023 management plan. The deadline to meet these standards begins on May 2, 2022, and classes and exams end on May 1, 2023. Clubs cannot receive credit for a single session, activity or multiple parts. Although some examples are shown below, Recreational Sports workers will be approved for the necessary requirements.

The remaining two-thirds of the annual sports club allocation is allocated to clubs based on their needs as reflected in their actual expenditure, approved fees and proposed budget adjustments. Athletic Club staff and the UTSCA Board review previous years' expenses and compile data. The budget adjustment form is used to account for anticipated changes in expenses (ie the national championships in Round Rock this year, so expenses are lower, but in Phoenix next year). Clubs must meet certain minimum standards to maintain their sponsoring organization (SSO) status, known as a sports club. If a club does not meet the minimum requirements in each category, it will not receive funding for the next financial year through the ACP. Clubs that do not meet two or more of the required criteria or do not receive a total of 70 points may reapply for athletic support by notifying their UTSCA partners. The UTSCA Board makes recommendations on applications to recreational sports officials, who make the final decisions on student organization support.

At least twice each semester, the UTSCA Board and Athletic Club staff will hold trustee meetings. Each club must send one representative to the match. In case of not appearing at the meeting, the club will be fined.

Each athletic club must meet at least once during the fall and spring semesters with the athletic club director, preferably with the club's designated advisor.

Each sports club must complete two hours of community service and volunteering for each member in their sports service schedule. The club gets 10 points for it. The club earns an additional 5 points if each member completes three hours. Plus an additional 5 points if the club participates in the November canning drive by donating at least 100 oz. possible for each member of the list.

Group/group projects are a focus of social work. For service to count toward ACP points, a club must have 5 members. Individual office hours may be required for non-club events, but are limited to two hours each. For example, if you spend 60 hours in the hospital, only 2 of those hours count toward the community service requirement.

Clubs must do at least one hour of community service per week for each active roster member or the club will receive a fine. This will be reviewed at the end of each term and at the end of the year so that each member of the work schedule has at least two hours of community service.

Attracting and maintaining a strong membership base is essential to the survival of any club. Events must be submitted within 2 weeks to receive event photos.

All sports clubs must raise 100% of their allocated funds. If the club collects the money, the club gets 15 points, and if the club doubles the distribution, it can get an additional 5 points. If the club does not collect 100% of the allocated amount, the club will receive 0 points.

Clubs that fail to complete all of the mandatory sections above will receive one violation for each section not completed and will receive additional sanctions from the UTSCA office.

The actions or genes described below are 100% possible. While we strongly encourage participation in each category, your club will not be penalized for missing opportunities here.

There are many opportunities to participate in UTSCA and recreational sports. Being active on a committee or sending your club members to help out at a RecSports event or emergency request will earn you club points.

Only UT marks will be considered. Additional awards may also be given, which will be considered by the UTSCA Board on a case-by-case basis.

Athletic clubs that operate throughout the school year with one or no violations will receive 10 ACP points. If a club receives two penalty fouls, the club receives 5 points. If a club incurs three or more penalties, the club will receive 0 points.
