Ucr Calendar 2023 – Stationery serves as an important official expression of our organizational identity. It plans and identifies the many parts of the university as well as the people and roles within it. A flexible stationary system is designed to meet the needs of the campus community. It includes multiple formats and options for a wide range of applications and replaces all previously approved stationary designs. The stationery system includes letterhead, envelopes, electronic letterhead and business cards.

Faculty, staff and Ph.D. Candidates can choose from UCR-approved templates for business cards, envelopes and letterheads. Unauthorized changes to the stationary system (including changes in design or appearance) are not permitted. University letters, envelopes and business cards are designed to maintain the integrity of the campus identity and create a professional stationery system to represent the institution. Two versions of approved letterhead are available, with or without the UCR seal image.

To maintain the integrity and quality of identification, commercially produced printed versions of the form printed in the official UCR blue and UCR gold colors are recommended.

This Microsoft Word letterhead template is primarily designed for use in digital communications, but can also serve as desktop stationery. Once you've created your master copy, export it as a PDF. For your information you should use Arial and Times New Roman font for the body of your email. For free stationery/logo design assistance, please contact University Communications.

In addition to official UCR forms, UC System stationery may be approved for use on a case-by-case basis for departments and units involved in system-wide business and communications activities.

For special applications that require the use of system-wide UC stationery, visit the UC Office of the President's Marketing Communications (UCOP).

The envelope shown below is the format that will be used on #10 envelopes. The recommended font for body text is 10 points with 16 line spacing (Format > Paragraph > Line Spacing). Set the top margin to 2 inches and the left margin to 4.125 inches.

Here are approved business card formats for general use. All cards are designed to specifications. Changing the design layout, font size and font case (upper and lower) is not allowed.

Standard business cards are available in landscape and portrait formats, as well as a selection of back designs. The variants of the opposite side of the cards are also shown.

For multiple partners, the cardholder must list the primary (such as college) on the top right of the card with the option to list other memberships with personal information.

Additional membership information may be printed on the back of the card. For example, professors with colleges and faculties can list their position as journal editor or center director on the back of the card.

If printing is required on the back of the card, such as a translation of the card into a foreign language, please note that only text is approved that must be printed in the approved font size and color in the predetermined area. Logos or images other than those approved here are not permitted on the back of the card. In the case of translated cards, this font requires printing on specific materials, so please contact Creative Design Services for ordering information.
