Cmc Academic Calendar 2023 – We have had many great weeks of learning and teaching. Students settle into the curriculum and build on the foundational knowledge they have learned in school since the beginning of the year. Be sure to ask your child what they are learning and how they are doing in class. These discussions help students think and reinforce ideas outside of the classroom!

The last three weeks of the semester after Thanksgiving break are critical. If your child is sick, please make sure your child is here every day. We will be testing NWEA MAPs on Wednesday, December 8th and Thursday, November 9th. These tests help us understand your child's progress this year. Sometimes they also help us find your child's schedule and schedule.

Additionally, the finals are Wednesday, December 15 and Thursday, December 16. We don't think that students don't exist these days. Students must be in school to take the final. Graduation is worth 15% of students who complete their degree. Term 1 classes end on Friday 17th December.

Emerging Composer Competition

Please encourage your child to do their best in the last three weeks of term. Many students put themselves in a difficult position to complete the effort. I hope you take the opportunity to celebrate your loved ones and count your blessings this Thanksgiving. We welcome all our students back to the building on Monday 29th November.

This concert will feature LCSD students in band, drums and piano/guitar. Artists must appear at 6:15pm wearing black and/or white. Festive accessories such as Santa hats or reindeer are welcome.

There will be lessons in this show. Artists should be performing at 6:30 p.m. Dressing in black, white, red or green is encouraged.

Beauty Of Mathematics

Performers in both shows are required to wear masks during intermission and offstage, but remove masks onstage to perform and sing before the show begins.

Audience members are asked to wear masks as there will be no social distancing. We expect a full house both nights.

If you are not happy with your child's behavior, please let the school know. Attendance is not required, but makeup work is offered at 5 p.m

With 6-8 games remaining in the LCIS we decided to make some changes. Due to the age of our students, we recommend that all students participating in the games be an adult. Students will not be allowed to participate in LCIS games without an adult. We are making this change to ensure that everyone is safe and respected at all times.

RSVP is required for the cold buffet before the dance on December 10th. Dinner is from 6pm to 7pm, and dancing is from 7pm to 10pm. For a $10 entree, you'll have a choice of steak, pork, or shrimp alfredo. There will be no food stamps at the door.

This event is suitable for parents of school aged children from Friday to 12 who are seeking solutions for anxiety, depression and other serious mental health issues associated with anxiety, academic underachievement and learning disabilities. . The CMC Airline District invites new composers to the Winnipeg Music Festival in an annual competition hosted by the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra. Conceived by an anonymous donor, the Canadian Air Regional Composer Competition was first presented in 2004. 2023 will mark the 20th anniversary of the competition. The winning entry will host a concert at the WNMF in 2023 at the WSO.

The winner will be invited to attend the fifth annual WNMF Composers Institute, experience the Winnipeg Music Festival behind the scenes, attend WSO rehearsals and concerts, and participate in special developmental workshops with Canadian and international musicians. to take .
